I have come to a dead end on the Berwick family line so far. They originated from St Pancras (Middlesex/London) in the 1800s but it gets hazy before then. My grandparents, George and Alice Berwick (nee Wicks) moved to Braintree, Essex, from Islington, in about 1950.

3. GEORGE CHARLES BERWICK (2) (WALTER WILLIAM BERWICK, GEORGE CHARLES BERWICK (1)) was born August 10, 1908 in Barnsbury, Islington, London, and died 1984 in Chelmsford. He married ALICE BEATRICE WICKS October 6, 1932 in Edmonton Register Office, London, daughter of GEORGE WICKS and MINNIE NUNN (or MUNN). She was born August 11, 1913 in Edmonton, London, and died 2001 in Colchester.
